• Master Landscape plans for complete property improvements that address all things outside including: grading, drainage, plantings, hardscape, and lighting. These plans are normally phased in over time.
  Focus design plans that address selective and priority projects including front foundation plantings, entry walkways, decks, patios, lighting and specialty features like ponds and fountains.

• Our design process is a truly collaborative effort between our customer and designer. This interactive process helps us ensure your wants and needs are reflected in the design plan. We believe this process is instrumental in creating the best landscape spaces for our customers. We also find it to be a valuable source of customer education and information, a solid financial planning tool, and an assurance for accurate project installation.

To help you decide if Urban Gardens is the right company for your landscape project, we will schedule an initial consultation either at our office or your home. At this meeting we’ll establish goals for your landscape project, and touch on project budget, scope and details. Most people don’t realize this is the most important step in the landscape process, and is probably the step that sets most companies apart. A good designer will ensure they truly understand your wants and needs for the landscape at this point. It will become their responsibility to transform your vision and create an outdoor space that will fulfill your goals and suite your lifestyle.

If your project does not incorporate a formal master plan design, we will choose the major elements verbally. We will then present a written proposal for review and approval.

Master plan design projects begin with a design services proposal outlining fees for design work and detailing design services to be performed. Urban Gardens takes great pride in our Master Plan Designs. Our designs are full color, hand rendered, drafted to scale on vellum. The comprehensive design process includes a:

• Detailed site analysis including photographs and on-site measurements

• Concept plan drawing and design of master landscape plan

• Second meeting with client to review and approve concept drawing

• Prepare project proposal, budget estimates, and timeline for project installation.

• Presentation of the master landscape plan and project proposal

The design process is completed with a presentation of the landscape master plan. Once accepted, a written proposal will be presented for your review. Upon approval and receipt of a project deposit, we will schedule your installation.

We take great pride in the installation of our design work and offer only the best in craftsmanship and premium grade products. Our build/manage services include a full range of planting, hardscaping, landscape lighting and water feature offerings. Quality assurance is directly managed by the owners of the company.

Our seasonal maintenance agreement ensures your property is routinely scheduled throughout the year to maintain your investment, keeping it beautiful and problem free.
